Eligibility and Application Process
To be eligible to attend the Paramedic Education Program, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid EMT certification and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. To obtain a complete list of eligibility requirements, please contact our Program Coordinator at info@ctemsclasses.com.
Process for Applying to our program:
- Click on the link on the home page to register for the entrance exam, pay the application fee, and the background check. This will start the process for us to contact you for the following steps.
- We will send you our application to the program, which includes the program handbook, information on our program, and the application with the health assessment form. These will need to be completed and submitted before we can schedule you for your entrance exam. You can also download the application below.
- We will schedule your entrance exam, which consists of reading comprehension, math, anatomy and physiology, and EMT skills
- When the above items are completed you will be scheduled for an interview with our staff for entrance into the program.
- When your application has been reviewed, your background check assessed, and your entrance exam completed, we will notify you of the status with our program.
Accreditation
CPR Training Professionals Paramedic Program is in association with The Yale New Haven Hospital Center for EMS paramedic program and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
